Simon and Tracy Merrin's Art and Frame shop in Framlingham, Suffolk does exactly that.  Using the traditional skills learnt from his father but using modern tools Simon can frame just about anything including recently a feather fan and a pair of gloves.  The shop invariably has paintings, drawings and prints by local artists for sale and there are two roomfuls of greeting cards.

A very pleasant shop to visit.
